Central Coast of California Arabian Horse Association

Hello CCCAHA Visitors

As Many of you may already be aware, President Trump and Governor Newsom have declared that the Coronavirus (COVID-19) is currently reaching near epidemic proportions in this country.

As a result of this, many group sporting events including the start of Major League Baseball, the NBA and other professional sporting organizations are suspending their events per request from their respective organizations.  This also includes many equestrian sporting events like the FEI World Cup in Las Vegas, Nevada and other AHA, USEF and USDF activities which are either cancelled outright or suspended until the crisis has passed.

We at the Central Coast of California Arabian Horse Association (CCCAHA) are monitoring these changes as well, but at this point, we ARE still planning to hold the various events like our first Open Breed Horse Show in mid-April and our La Riata Ranch Spring Trail Ride in early May, as these events occur after the crisis period that our Government has stated is critical.

Of course, if you have concerns about the COVID-19 virus affecting you, AND you have pre-registered for any or all of these events, you may certainly withdraw from attendance with no penalty to your entry fees.  We do encourage everyone who plans to attend our events to use sound judgement when coming into contact with another competitor.

For our part, we will make sure that proper hygiene services are available to all competitors, volunteers, officials and guests to help minimize the effects of the spread of the virus.

If the current situation changes, CCCAHA will make additional posts on both the Website and our Facebook Page so that everyone involved may stay informed.

We look forward to a great and safe show season and hope to see everyone at the events this year.

Central Coast of California Arabian Horse Association
Executive Board of Directors

Welcome Members:

If you are interested in volunteering for our upcoming show season, please contact Lindamae Suprinski at pisnoopy@charter.net

Our normal General Membership Meetings are normally held the 3rd Tuesday of each month unless other special membership events are held. We have had some fabulous guest speakers over the last several meetings.  Come join in the fun and fellowship with other club members.  If you have an idea for a speaker or an event idea, let us know! Please check back to the website or our Facebook page for updates on our meeting dates and events.

CCCAHA is always looking for fresh new faces to help shape our club and offer ideas to help improve the Arabian breed and the success of our organization.  If you are 18 years of age and want to help make a difference, please feel free to come to our Board of Directors meetings the first Tuesday of every month to learn all about us and help make a difference.
